 Homeland Security Policy Committee

 
The Homeland Security Policy Committee has responsibility for all security related policy issues affecting the trucking industry. To ensure a broad representation of interests, the committee is comprised of ATA members active in other pertinent policy committees, such as intermodal, cross-border, government traffic, and hazardous materials transportation. The committee also deals with cargo theft. The committee coordinates and regularly apprises other pertinent ATA policy committees on security issues under discussion. The Committee receives support from the Security Council for research, analysis and policy development.
