5 Things You Can Do to
Help Promote the Trucking Industry On Capitol Hill
- Sign up to receive the Grassroots Action Alerts by entering you information on the Grassroots Enrollment Form here.
- Save grassroots@trucking.org in your safe senders list and/or your spam filter so that the Action Alerts are delivered straight to your inbox.
- Take action by sending email letters or calling your members of Congress when you receive an Action Alert from ATA.
- Send us your Congressional Contacts information. Personal relationships with legislators are vital when communicating our message to Congress. Let us know through our Congressional Contacts Survey located here, who you know on a more personal basis so that we may contact you when that level of communication is needed.
- Attend town hall meetings coordinated by your Senator(s) and/or Representative. These are excellent opportunities to speak directly with your elected officials on the issues impacting the trucking industry. If you would like to know if your Senator(s) or Representative is hosting a town hall meeting in your area, email us at grassroots@trucking.org and we’ll reply to you with the information. Don’t forget to include your zip code OR the name of the legislator in which you are interested.
