Homeland Security Policy Committee: Has responsibility for all security-related policy issues affecting the trucking industry. To ensure a broad representation of ATA member interests, the committee is comprised of ATA members active in other pertinent policy committees, such as intermodal, cross-border, government traffic, and hazardous materials transportation. The committee also deals with cargo theft. The Committee coordinates and regularly apprises other pertinent ATA policy committees on security issues under discussion, and the committee finalizes all ATA security policy recommendations to the ATA Board of Directors and/or Executive Committee. -- ATA Staff Liaisons: Martin Rojas and Boyd Stephenson.
