Full/Fleet Membership is open to individuals whose primary responsibility is to select and/or maintain commercial motor vehicles and components for motor fleet operations, regardless of the type of vehicle or operation in which such vehicles are engaged. Full Membership is also granted to industry educators and members of the editorial press. The first member from a company is designated as the Executive member while all others receive the "Additional" rate.

Associate Membership is open to individuals whose primary responsibility is the design, manufacture or sale of a product or service to the trucking industry. This includes associate equipment suppliers (OEMs). Associate members also include representatives of federal and state agencies, representatives of other conferences, councils, institutes, associations and consultants whose activities are consistent with TMC's purpose and objectives. The first member from a company is designated as the Corporate member while all others receive the "Additional" rate.
