Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, you can register on-site for the conference at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. ATA will have a full conference team ready to assist you in the South Convention Center, Level 2, in the Mandalay Bay Foyer.

Rooms are still available at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino at discounted rates. Call 1-877-632-9001. When you call to make your reservations, reference American Trucking Associations (ATA) to qualify for the discounted rates.

To make or change hotel accommodations at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Hotel, please call the hotel reservations department directly at (877) 632-9001 and reference the American Trucking Associations. Every request will be based on availability at the time of booking.

 MC&E: A Brief History
In the spring of 1933, two fledgling organizations – the American Highway Freight Association and the Federated Truck Associations of America – banded together to form the first national representation of the struggling trucking industry. On October 1 of the same year, the American Trucking Associations – the national organization born of that meeting – opened for business in Washington, D.C.

In observance of its new beginnings, ATA held its first annual convention in Chicago in October of 1934. ATA’s Annual Management Conference & Exhibition continues that tradition today.

Attention ATA Attendees and Exhibitors!

Convention Expo Travel is contacting ATA members and exhibitors implying that ATA has asked for their assistance with hotel reservations in Las Vegas for the upcoming 2009 ATA MC&E. ATA DOES NOT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS COMPANY, and has expressly instructed that they not contact our members.

American Trucking Associations (ATA) is working directly with the two headquarters hotels, The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and THEhotel to provide accommodations for our attendees. ATA’s online registration is open and will be honoring the discounted registration rates through September 11, 2009. After successfully registering for the Conference, you will receive the hotel links and instructions to book your room. The two (2) hotels that ATA has selected as the headquarters hotels in Las Vegas will have sufficient room availability for Exhibitors and Attendees.

If you receive an email or phone call from Convention Expo Travel, ATA strongly recommends you DO NOT make your Las Vegas hotel reservation with them. If you have already made hotel reservations through Convention Expo Travel, ATA is unable to guarantee the reservation is valid. Please contact the specified hotel immediately for reservation confirmation.
