 Adopt-A-Member Program

The basic premise of this voluntary program is that you agree to pay the membership dues for a new ATA member. As a member you may choose a prospect on your own or elect to accept one that will be assigned to you from ATA. Each new member must meet all the requirements for membership including state association membership and inclusion of all motor carrier companies under its corporate umbrella. Each member sponsor who accepts the challenge will decide what dues level they are comfortable with.

You may elect to pay a portion of the dues, such as a quarter for larger new members, or join with other members to sponsor a larger new member. The Membership staff is ready to work with any member to fit the program to you individual circumstances to ensure success of the program.

Any new member you sponsor will count towards a Membership Blue Coat Award. A Blue Coat is awarded to any member who is responsible for 10 new members (of any size) or a total of $50,000 in annualized dues during a membership year.

Once the membership team has completed the new member process, we will send an invoice to you for payment. You may elect to pay the dues in full, quarterly or on a monthly payment schedule.

Importantly, this program is completely voluntary. You are not obligated to participate. By the same token, you're not limited to only one sponsored company this year. We believe this is an excellent opportunity to recruit a prospect who is sitting on the fence. By bringing them into ATA, we can more easily demonstrate the value of membership. Once they are a member, we have an excelent chance to kep them as ATA members.

If you are willing to accept this challenge and have a prospect in mind, please contact the Membership Department at (888) 333-1759 to start the process or call David Brodie, senior vice president of Membership directly at (480) 659-7875.
