ATA For-Hire members are companies that transport good for compensation, i.e., companies hired/paid to haul (or broker the hauling of) customers’ products via truck (whether the trucks are leased or owned).
For-Hire membership dues are based on 2008 or 2010 gross trucking revenue excluding fuel surcharges (from all commonly owned transportation and logistics operations). As a prerequisite for membership, all U.S. carriers must be a member of at least one State Trucking Association.
