ATA Private Carrier members are companies which produce, manufacture and/or supply products that are non-commercial transportation industry specific and which haul their products via their own fleet of trucks, whether the trucks are leased or owned by the company.
Private Carrier membership dues are based on 2008 fleet size (Class 7 trucks or higher) including owned and leased vehicles. As a prerequisite for membership, all U.S. carriers must be a member of at least one State Trucking Association.
