How to Participate The Share the Road Highway Safety program is an opportunity to save lives on our highways.  By educating the motoring public about the blind spots around large trucks, as well as following and stopping distances and other safety tips, those driving on our highways will know what to expect when sharing the road with tractor-trailers. Read the safety tips on the Share the Road website and practice safe driving Educate those around you about the Share the Road program, the blind spots and safety tips Order brochures for your children; your neighbors or colleagues at work Work with your local high school or community leaders to suggest setting up a Share the Road demonstration Contact ATA to organize an event at your company or in your local area Take extra caution when traveling the highways, be patient and give other vehicles a space cushion
