Randy Briggs, YRC

Randy Briggs has been a professional truck driver for over 30 years and has accumulated nearly one million accident-free miles. He is a local pick-up and delivery driver for YRC.

Several days each month, Randy speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Randy won first place at the Utah Truck Driving Championships in 2009 and 2010. He was the runner-up for State Grand Champion in 2009. He was named Driver of the Month by the Utah Trucking Association in October 2008. He has also received his 15 Year Safe Working Award. Randy served in the U.S. Army Reserves and has participated in the Festival of Trees and Scouting for Food programs for 15 years. He is very involved in his local church and enjoys woodworking, spending time outdoors, and riding ATVs.

Randy lives with his wife, Michelle, in Sandy, Utah. They have two daughters and four grand-daughters.
