Gerald Charron, Con-way Freight
Gerald Charron has been a professional truck driver for 18 years and has accumulated over 1.6 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for Con-way Freight.
Several days each month, Gerald speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.
Gerald received the Best Pre-Trip Inspection Award and was named the Vermont Truck Driving Championships Grand Champion in 2007. He also placed first in the twins division.
Gerald and his wife, Julie, reside in Danville, Vt. They have two children.
