Paul Gattin, ABF Freight System
Paul Gattin has been a professional truck driver for 33 years and has accumulated over 3 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for ABF Freight System.
Several days each month, Paul speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.
Paul placed first in the Arkansas Truck Driving Championships in 2005, 2007, and 2009. He also earned the title of Grand Champion in 2005 and Rookie of the Year 2003 at the state level. Paul was named Arkansas Driver of the Year in 2005. He has received the 22 year Safe Driving Award, the 10, 15, and 20 year Safety Performance Awards, and the Silver Safe Driver Award from ABF Freight System.
Paul and his wife, Wanda, reside in Benton, Ark. They have a son. |
