Wal-Mart Transportation
Gary has been a professional truck driver for 40 years and has accumulated over 4.3 accident-free miles. He is a regional driver for Wal-Mart Transportation.
Several days each month, Gary speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.
Gary was the Missouri Driver of the Month for November in 2006. Gary has received recognition from the Downers Grove, Ill. Police Department and Washington County, Iowa for his actions in rescuing a toddler on the highway and assisting in the apprehension of a drunk driver.
Gary and his wife, Linda, reside in Shelbina, Mo. They have five children and eight grandchildren with another set of twins on the way. |
