Dennis Martin, UPS Freight

Dennis Martin has been a professional truck driver for over 17 years and has accumulated nearly 1 million accident-free miles. He is an over-the-road driver for UPS Freight.

Several days each month, Dennis speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Dennis has participated in five South Carolina Truck Driving Championships and has two first place finishes, two second place finishes, and one third place finish. He was named State Rookie of the Year in 2005. Dennis has been a member of the UPS All-Star Road Team since 2007. He participates in sound, lighting, and video presentations for Christian youth events several times a year.

Dennis lives with his wife, Sherry, in Gaffney, S.C. They have two children.
