Kurt Pedersen, Con-way Freight
Kurt Pedersen has been a professional truck driver for 18 years and has accumulated 1.45 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for Con-way Freight.
Several days each month, Kurt speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.
Kurt won first place in the 2008 and 2010 Arizona State Truck Driving Championships. He has also received the 5, 10, and 15 year Safe Driving Awards, as well as the Million Mile Safe Driving Award. Kurt was the recipient of two Quarterly Leader’s Awards, the President’s Club Award, and the CEO Constellation Award.
Kurt and his wife, Kelly, reside in Surprise, Ariz. They have two children. |
