Jeff Wade, Southeastern Freight Lines

Jeff Wade has been a professional truck driver for 32 years and has accumulated over 1.47 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for Southeastern Freight Lines.

Several days each month, Jeff speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Jeff is a South Carolina Road Team member and Safety Team Chairman for the Southeastern Freight Lines’ Charleston, S.C. Service Center. He has received the following honors from Southeastern Freight Lines: 31 Year Safe Driving Award, 33 Year Injury-Free Award, the President’s Club Award and the Double President’s Award. Jeff was named Regional Pick-up & Delivery Driver of the Year in 2008. In 2009, the South Carolina Trucking Association named him Driver of the Month for March and Driver of the Year.

Jeff lives with his wife, Paula, in Moncks Corner, S.C. They have three children.
