Bob Weller, Hahn Transportation

Bob Weller has been a professional truck driver for 36 years and has accumulated over 3 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for Hahn Transportation.

Several days each month, Bob speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Bob was named Driver of the Year for Hahn Transportation in 1984. In 1999, he was named Driver of the Year by ECS Underwriting Insurance. Maryland Motor Truck Association selected Bob as the Driver of the Month in August of 1990 and November 2005. In addition to placing first in the Hahn Transportation Truck Driving Championships, he has finished second and third at the state level in the Maryland Truck Driving Championships. He is a member of the Hahn Transportation Hall of Fame for his years of service. Bob has been the President of the Fire Department in New Market, Md for 12 years.

Bob lives in Monrovia, Md. He has two children and four grandchildren.
