Anthony “Tony” Sifford, FedEx Ground
Tony Sifford has been a professional truck driver for 14 years and has accumulated 1.8 million accident-free miles. He is a longhaul driver for FedEx Ground.

Several days each month, Tony speaks to the news media, schools, community groups and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Tony is a member of the FedEx Million Mile Club, as well as the FedEx Safety Team. He is a recipient of the 11 Year Safety Award and is a member of the North Carolina Road Team. Tony has been an active participant in the North Carolina Truck Driving Championships since 2003.

He is a member of the Trucker Buddy (www.truckerbuddy.org) program.

Tony and his wife, Gena, reside in Hillsville, Va., with their two children.
