Jerry Adams has been a professional truck driver for 28 years and has accumulated more than 2.2 million accident-free miles. He drives for C & S Wholesale Grocers.

Several days each month, he speaks to the news media, schools, community groups and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Jerry has actively participated in the Truck Driving Championships at the company, state and national level for years. He has been an active member of the South Carolina State Road Team since 2001 and was named South Carolina Truck Driver of the Year in 2003.

Jerry and his wife, Karen, reside in Simpsonville, S.C. They have two children.
