Larry Shelton, Formerly with Old Dominion
 Larry Shelton has been a professional truck driver for more than 33 years and has accumulated 3.4 million accident-free miles.
Several days each month, Larry speaks to the news media, schools, community groups and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.
Larry is a member of the Old Dominion Freight Lines Million Mile Club and a member of the North Carolina Road Team. He has been an active participant in the North Carolina Truck Driving Championships since 2000. He volunteers at the Mid-Atlantic Truck Driving Championships annually to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Larry is also a driver trainer at Old Dominion Freight Lines.
Larry resides in King, N.C. He has three daughters and six grandchildren.
