Eddie Hosegood, Publix Supermarkets, Inc. Eddie Hosegood has been a professional truck driver for 18 years and has accumulated over 100,000 accident-free miles. He is a company driver for Publix Supermarkets, Inc. Several days each month, Eddie speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry. Eddie was the Florida Driver of the Month in 2004. Eddie has competed in the state truck driving championships for many years, finishing third three times. He has been a member of the Florida Road Team since 2003. Eddie and his wife, Lynne, reside in Lakeland, Fla. They have three children.
