Ben Saiz, ABF Freight System Ben Saiz has been a professional truck driver for 44 years and has accumulated over 900,000 accident-free miles. He is a relay driver for ABF Freight System. Several days each month, Ben speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry. Ben is a four-time New Mexico Truck Driving Champion in the straight truck division. Ben was New Mexico Driver of the Month in 2003. He has also been a member of ABF’s Road Team since 2006. Ben and his wife, Rose, reside in Estancia, N.M. They have three children and 10 grandchildren.
