Ron VanBibber, Roadway Ron VanBibber has been a professional truck driver for 23 years and has accumulated 1.7 million accident-free miles. He is a city driver for Roadway. Several days each month, Ron speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry. Ron placed first in his division at the Utah Truck Driving Championships in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. He has also received the Million Mile Safe Driver Award and the 15 year Safe Worker Award. Ron has been a member of his terminal’s Safety Council for the last three years. Ron and his wife, Joleen, reside in South Jordan, Utah. They have two children.
