Dec. 10, 2008 Life-saving highway driving tips are being presented across West Virginia this week as part of the American Trucking Associations’ national Share the Road highway safety tour by top professional truck drivers.

Nov. 19, 2008 - As over 37 million motorists prepare to hit the road this Thanksgiving, a team of million mile accident-free drivers are helping to make our roads safer.

America’s Road Team Captain David May, a professional truck driver with more than 1.5 million accident-free miles and 28 years behind the wheel, presented life-saving tips yesterday at a drowsy driving press conference as part of the New York State Motor Truck Association’s efforts during National Drowsy Driving Prevention Week.

America’s Road Team, a group of million mile accident-free drivers, are taking the opportunity during National Drowsy Driving Prevention Week (Nov. 10-16), to reach out to the motoring public and talk about the dangers of driving while drowsy. These elite drivers will be talking to motorists around the country to spread the message of safety.

The American Trucking Associations announced Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions was awarded the second-annual Mike Russell “Good stuff” Trucking Image Award during ATA’s annual Management Conference & Exhibition Oct. 4-7 in New Orleans, La.

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for 15 to 20 year-olds in America, and a team of million mile accident-free drivers are helping to make teens safer during National Teen Driver Safety Week, Oct. 19 to 25, 2008.
