Navigating the MarketPlaceThere are several ways to find products in the Truckline Marketplace You can mix and match the methods you prefer. Browse -- When you first enter the Marketplace, the first page you see is a list of our current specials, plus navigation bars on the left and right side of the pages. You can browse the virtual aisles of the Marketplace using the navigation lists on the left side of the page. Clicking on one of these categories, you'll be taken to another page that displays "Featured Products" in that category. In addition, another navigation bar called "Products" appears above the "Shop For" navigation bar. Clicking on the items on the "Products" list will bring you to a group of products in that sub-category You can move from page to page with the "Previous" and "Next" buttons at the bottom of the page. Shorter sub-categories will not have additional pages. You can also select items directly from the list of specials and featured products in the middle of the page, or the lists of "Best Sellers" and "New This Week" item lists on the right side of the page. In addition, each product's "More Information" ;page may also contain links to related products. Clicking the names of these products will take you to their descriptions. Product Category Search -- You can browse all products by a particular author, manufacturer or product category by selecting that category's name from the drop-down menu on the top of each page. In addition, you can click the name of the manufacturer on each "More Information" page. Subsequent pages are navigated via buttons at the bottom of the page. Keyword Search -- Truckline's MarketPlace features a powerful keyword search engine that lets you search by the full or partial name of a product or manufacturer. You can also search by product number (SKU) if you know it. Results are displayed in sets of eight that are navigated with buttons at the bottom of the page. Ordering ProductsMembership vs. Non-MembershipTruckline's Marketplace offers significant discounts to ATA members. To process your order at the discount prices, you must do two things: 1) Order products online by clicking the "Buy at Member Price" buttons and, 2) Have your membership verified by our customer service staff. We do not process your credit card online. That information is transmitted securely to our customer service staff which first checks your order against your membership status before processing your order. If you have chosen to buy a product at a member price but are not a member of ATA, your order will not be processed until our customer service staff can contact you. Using the Shopping CartWhen you find a product you'd like to buy, click either the "Buy at Member Price" or "Buy at Non-Member Price" button to add it to your Shopping Cart. Inside your cart, you can change the number of each item by typing in a new number into the Quantity field and then clicking "Update Quantities." Click the "Checkout" button once you are ready to order. Red lettering at the top of the page will remind you whether you are ordering at the member or non-member price. If this information is incorrect, you must use your "Back" button, change the quantities to 0 and return to the shopping area to choose the product again with the correct "buy" button. Note: If you select one item at member price and another at nonmember price, your entire order will appear to have been charged at nonmember rates. Next you must enter your billing and shipping information. You can check a box on this page to use your billing information as your shipping information. Finally, you confirm your order on the next page. Once you have submitted your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming the order. This e-mail contains your Order Number and information on how to contact Customer Service. Once Customer Service ships your order, you will receive another e-mail stating that fact. This e-mail contains a number you can use to track your shipment's progress with United Parcel System. To access the UPS tracking system, click the "Order Status" link at the top of every Marketplace page. Payment InformationTruckline's Marketplace takes extraordinary steps to ensure that ordering our goods online is a safe, secure process. We process your personal and credit card information using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology that encrypts data before it is sent over the Internet. (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. In addition, the database we use to store your personal information is stored on a secure server and the data inside the database in encrypted so that even if someone accessed the file directly, they would be unable to view your data. Only authorized employees have access to your personal information and that access is restricted using two separate security measures. Access is also limited to a small group of people and security measures are checked and updated regularly. ShippingWe currently only ship products using United Parcel Service's ground transport method. Shipment time is usually less than five days. If you need to have your products shipped differently, you can contact us by e-mail or by calling 1-800-ATA-LINE. Make sure to have your order number handy. It is included in any e-mail we send you.
